Thanks for those nice words. That Q&A routine is in the brain farts section because at the time of writing it had only been performed around a dozen times or so which I don’t feel is enough to qualify as audience tested. However it is still one of my favourite routines in the book.

The BOD costs something like $1800-$2000

I remember seeing somewhere, sometime, a picture of one part of one page of the book, and there was some type of reference to the NLP notion of "eye accessing cues".

In any case, PT is 21st Century - other performers belong to the last century.

I disagree with Maxyedid, all performers are different. Personally I don’t like Pete Turner style in some routines where there is so much talking and so few things happen. I prefer his more direct style he is using at times. I can’t see a conversational style for a 90 min show without becoming boring. So if it’s the 21 th century, I just don’t get it.

Is true there are sometimes Pete bores you with the conversation (I actually love his effects just not the way he presents them and I believe he is a gret performer I just don't like his presentations) but if you see Derren Brown, he has like little talks before the show, the effects and after the show (like an epilogue).

So I think that a long presentation (if is good) will have audiences engaged.

Just think about stories, there are better persons narrating them, they don't need effects to tell it.

You said earlier that videos are "too slow" for you. Perhaps you have attention deficit?

PT is definetly NOT boring - he's fascinating. Although if you find him boring that would be wonderful, as that's the nature of art Smile

Very few can get away with it, D.B being one... 15 minute presentation for one effect....
