Guys you are forgetting possibly the best card book ever made. The 3rd edition of Revolutionary Card Technique is coming out this year. Probably by the end of the month.

There are many tricks, and many effects, but rarely a Grand Effect. There are many entertainers, but few real magicians. Many technicians, but few artists who use their art to explore their vision. - Derren Brown, Absolute Magic

Parlour Tricks definitely deserves consideration as the book of the year. I put out a review for anyone who doesn't already have it, but is considering it.

Sheesh - I don't know how many submissions you're allowed to post, but subsequent to my interaction with Parlour Magic, I finished Tim Hannig's PERFORM, which is an outstanding book and should be considered for The Magic Café Book of the Year 2020.
If you haven't read it yet, watch my video review to see if that helps you understand the case for it's inclusion on the list. If you've already read it, well, you know why it deserves to be on the list. Great book and some invaluable advice from Tim. Highly recommended!!! |
