Can't go wrong with Richard Osterlind.
https://www.penguinmagic.com/p/13252 "Acidus Novus is my absolute favorite method for peeking secret information. 100% sure fire every single time!" - Cody S. Fisher When you talk to any of the best mentalists on the planet and ask them what the perfect billet peek is, chances are good they'll say Acidus Novus. Millard Longman’s Acidus Novus peek has long been a coveted technique by the very best in the business. It’s one of the very few peeks that doesn’t require a switch, or even for you to completely open the folded paper. This is Millard Longman’s Acidus Novus, presented by Richard Osterlind. In this fully detailed instructional video, with full permission from the creator of the move, Richard Osterlind teaches you everything there is to the Acidus Novus peek. Even if you are already familiar with this diabolically simple move, Richard teaches a few of his personal touches that make it even more deceptive. Imagine being able to see what is written down on the inside of a folded business card right in the open with that same business card in plain view. There are no gimmicks to be made, and you can even give away your business card after you have used it to crack open their mind like a walnut. This isn’t hype. This isn’t fast talk. This is direct mind reading, and it doesn’t get more powerful than Acidus Novus. |

I guess Richard is trying to compete with Sneak Peek by Spidey, which is $ 6,95. 🤨
Please check regularly if you are becoming the type of magician Jerry Seinfeld jokes about. (This applies to mentalists as well.)

Anyone who buys and enjoys this $5, 12 minute download teaching the basic method may want to consider saving up for Millard’s complete multi media course teaching so much more. This download is really a very brief introduction to AN. Millard’s full course includes many routines from well known pros, and even a complete Q&A act.

What a pitty - quick money making - fast food mentality. I do not like. Somehow it does not feel right for me. Such a good method again now pitched out like a worthless burger.
I once contacted Millard personally and paid more. And therefore value his Acidus Novus also much more. My cents |

Didn't Wayne Houchin teach Acidus Novus in his Stigmata video? (been years since I watched it) I can see its also available for $4.95 from ellusionist
I'm 100% sure that Richard would have contacted Millard before releasing, so if Millard was fine with it then so be it |

It just feels like Millard has gone back on his ‘conditions’ for those who want to teach AN
Or he didn’t realise how much Pengiun/RO we’re going to charge when asked permission ... as this release seems to contravene condition 5 Millard’s List of conditions for those wishing to teach/use AN in commercial releases: I generally grant permission to explain the basic Acidus Novus peek on six conditions: 1. You must be a legal owner of record of Thought Reading with Billets Volume One: Acidus Novus (this is available exclusively from Loren Tindall at http://www.mevproshop.com) 2. Only the basic lower right corner peek is explained as it was in Al Mann’s original book 3. A link to my product at Loren Tindall’s website (http://www.mevproshop.com) is included in your product 4. Your routine must be original and require the use of Acidus Novus to be effective 5. Your product is for sale at a fair and profitable price only – not posted anywhere at no charge nor sold too cheaply 6. I get a complimentary copy of your product |

The bright side is that so many new downloads come out every week, none of them have any staying power. So this will be hot this week and gone next week. Information overload is usually bad, but it's good in this case. For example, I've got over 500 items in by Penguin MyMagic account. Sometimes I'll scroll through it and realize I've purchased the same thing twice because I didn't even recall buying it in the first place.

Every time I see a cheap download that explains the "Swindle Switch" ... deal or switch technique I die a little on the inside...

This technique has been explained in dozens of releases. Over the last few years Mr. Longman must have given permission to a lot of people to teach this in their own releases.
Or they didn't ask. He probably just wanted to get his share of what this technique is worth since no one is paying a 160 $ for this anymore. Relax. This technique requires good performance skills and balls. If used correctly it is absolutely invisible. But you have to think and practice before you can use it successfully. There will not be any more people using this than there have been before... |

Agree that concerns over exposure or trivializing resulting from this release are much ado about nothing. This technique, while brilliant and beautiful, has been around a long time and in a few days excitement for most will shift to the next shiny object.
