Friends,

I’m posting this with great sadness. The time has come for me to let everyone know that our dear friend Thomas Baxter is in very poor health, and has been for quite some time. Tom has been inspirational to me throughout his ordeal, and I have never seen such courage displayed by anyone else, ever. Tom’s condition is not likely to improve, and he has been fighting this battle for years. He was recently discharged from the hospital and sent home to be with his family.

Tom is one of the greatest friends of my lifetime. Let us carry his memory with us forever.

Sad news - haven't spoken to Tom in a fair while but any dealings I had with him were always first class. My thoughts are with him, his family and friends. Also my sympathy to you Ben, very sad to lose a friend.

If you can, Ben, please tell Mr. Baxter that, Sixten & his family are all praying for him & his family.

That is awful. I used to love his posts here and bought his books.Really great stuff when so many sell absolute garbage or are only in it for the money.

Tom lost his battle with leukemia last night. He was a warrior to the very end. I will miss him very much.

RIP Tom. Thanks for all the times we sat and talked shop over a cup of coffee. Thanks for the hours of playing Monopoly with me. Thanks for your generous gifts of props and manuscripts. Thanks for going to see movies with me when nobody else would.

I am sorry to hear. My condolences to his family and those who knew him best.

Devastated. Tom was hugely supportive of me years ago, and became a good friend. We chatted regularly and his wisdom, input and guidance was appreciated more than I let him know. I will miss him so much.
