This post isn't a marketing gimmick. Nor is it a way to gather contact information for future projects. Simply stated, at this time, folks are dealing with a ton of worry, pressure, and anxiety. With that said, I wanted to do something positive, so I am passing along a gift. For everyone. And if my humble offering can bring a smile or two, I will have done my job.
Below is the link to two free eBooks. The first one is called "The Other Guy", and it contains a rather eclectic assortment of performance pieces, thoughts, and rants from several of my releases. The other eBook is for any interested individuals. It is the program we made available (back in 2017) for public performances of my autobiographic monologue, "A Fine Li(n)e". It contains essays, poetry, and photography. http://www.deceptionsunlimited.com/free_ebooks.html Please feel free to download either, or both, completely free of charge. We are making these manuscripts available to help distract folks from the life-altering situation we are all currently facing. In short, we have two goals in mind. First, to bring a smile or two to those who choose to glance through the books; and second, to inspire others to do what they can to make this situation better for those within their reach. So, enjoy, and be well. Keep the change, Rick & Tammy Maue |

Yesterday, I heard about videos of people in Italy singing together, each from their own window. It struck me that the silver lining in this whole pandemic is that we are seeing people becoming closer to those they don't even know well (necessarily) because they are forced to stay separate.
And here's Rick Maue doing the same sort of thing for a virtual community. Thank you. I haven't downloaded anything yet, but I'm so touched that you are being so kind. -Patrick |

BTW: Reading DNA provoked my curiosity and I discovered that some of the red "party" cups in the cupboard display similar characteristics. Thanks again.

As usual, one of the kindest guys on the planet. The monkeys applaud!!! I'm not as technically savvy as Rick so I don't know how to make those download pages. What I will do, in keeping with Rick's generosity, I will put 3 bonus effects from past ebooks in the Inner Thoughts area.
Everyone stay safe. Greg

Thank you so much, Rick, for the kind gesture. They brought a smile to my face in these difficult times. A big thank you for that because in Europe all life was shut down because of Covid-19. I'm afraid that for America it's only a matter of days.
