This one isn't about me but my best friend co-wrote the US Air Force survival manual and is related to a convicted werewolf.

I am the same age as Disneyland.
I share a birthday with Mickey Mouse. My last name is the same as the state I was born in. (And moved back to. I'm still trying to work that one out!)

3 surprises together. (1)I was already in my late 50s when I got my very first girlfriend. And I was not even looking for a gf at all. It just happened. But I went with the flow, simply because it was fun.
(2) I got a second girlfriend shortly thereafter. (3rd surprise) This all happened while I was staying at a homeless shelter! This proves that even in a time of adversity that one can find happiness. |

I was pulling weeds outside Mike Ilitch's dining room window, I look inside to see him firing Red Wings coach Jacques Demers.

I once met Eric Estrada from CHIPS. Ok, I didn't so much meet him as walk past him taking a smoke-break outside a theatre.

I was a volunteer audience member in a skit in Las Vegas with Jerry Lewis. The next night his act, which also included Sammy Davis Jr., was filmed by HBO. It would have been a nostalgic video to cherish and share with my family over the years.

I received a theatrical scholarship at my undergraduate college to act, sing, and dance in shows along with getting grant money to play football. Nope, crazy but never was teased about it either, lol!

I won the first shooting competition I ever entered.
I started shooting handguns in 2015. About a year later I met a guy I hadn't seen in a few years. We chatted, and he invited me to participate in a Glock Sports Shooting Foundation competition. I thought it would be fun. It was, and I won!
