I have a self folding £5 that I use all the time (goes down great!)loads of sites have the information and they are dead easy to make. I think I got mine from http://www.youdomagic.com ?? Hope this helps Bev Jason Just had a look at the http://www.youdomagic.com site and I think it must have been the floating dollar bill I got from them. Anyway, if you PM me I'll give you some info. In Michael Ammar’s “Magical Arts Journal” Volume 2 #12, there is “The Self Folding Bill” by Stefan Schutzer. This should be what you are looking for.
B.T.W. in one of the bound the “M.A.J.“ collections - the one entitled “Paul Harris The Act“ you’ll find reprints of Volume 2 #9 - 12.

I use my own bill but then switch out so the spec can look at it. A great time to do this effect is in the store when purchasing a small item, then swith and pay the cashier.
