Stimulus checks/cheques went out today via direct deposit. If you have not set up direct deposit with the IRS previously you will have to wait for a paper check/cheque by mail.
You can check (not cheque) your stimulus check/cheque status Here. I didn't have direct deposit set up as I have owed for the last 15 years and will have to wait for the paper check/cheque to be mailed. I will just add it to what I owe them.
I still recall the day I met Beaker from the Muppets. He said to me "Meep, meep, mee mee mee Meep!", and that has made all the difference.

I had an identity theft situation about five years ago. As a result, the IRS won't let me file electronically, or receive direct deposit.

Both of my parents will receive it as well since they are on social security.

We do not have to pay the mortgage for three months and we have had some other help with bar, but nobody has pushed any cash through the letterbox yet.

I checked today and I qualify. I had to enter my direct deposit info. Luckily they based it upon my adjusted income... which explains why my co-workers received theirs.
