I have always had great respect for anyone who can do sleight of hand with coins. If you can master it great. For beginners if you are unable to master sleights, you could always try some of the late Eddie Gibson coin effects. Ok they do not give you everything for you to not bother with learning sleight of hand with coins, although they can be a solution for a sleight frustrated beginner.

Thanks for all these great ideas, Rick. I have a comment and a question. First, your advice about not practicing for long unbroken periods is excellent -- both to avoid ingraining bad technique, as you suggested, and, I'd add, to avoid injury. Repetitive motion is insidious: you don't feel anything wrong and suddenly you realize something is wrong.
I had never heard of a selfie stick, and I love your idea of holding one upright using a clamp. My question: Do you know whether selfie sticks can hold an ipod generation 7? The dimensions are: 123.4 mm (4.86 in) Height; 58.6 mm (2.31 in) Width; 6.1 mm (0.24 in) Depth. I don't have a cell phone, and they seem to come in a variety of sizes. Thanks, Bob |
