This is my new go-to card trick for ZOOM shows. It involved everyone and it has a very powerful impact especially if you do the "Any four of a kind" version. I almost don't want to post it so it doesn't become so popular and everyone starts doing it.
Don't get it unless you are looking for a killer effect. |

I really liked it!
The contribution that Adrian makes with the gaff cards adds a lot to the final emotion that the viewer experiences. |

I'm familiar with the Fujiwara routine and it would be nice to see what Adrian has added here. However... I have oodles of gaffed cards and won't need the ones being provided. Therefore, I won't be purchasing because, in addition to the actual cost, there's also shipping and handling to account for. Were this also made available as a download with the option of not including the cards, I'd be in.

It's amazing how multiple first time posters say that this effect is great. Very believable. I bet they didn't come to the café just to promote this effect.
Anyway, I do like it. It's practical and it is fun to do. It's not a show stopper, but it is a fun effect.

I perform this effect in my Zoom shows so many times with large audiences and people is amaze!
I know Adrian for many years and he is one of the most creatives minds I know! If you had the chance to perform this vis zoom or Skype or facetime you will know that people reactions is amazing! Even Luis DeMatos perform it in national tv! |

The next post after yours quotes the ad copy (for Virtual OOTW) from Penguinmagic, Penguin Ad Copy: "[Virtual Triumph] went straight into the repertoires of some of the best working magicians in the world (Luis De Matos even performed it on national TV.)." Member's 2nd Magiccafe Post: "...Even Luis DeMatos perform it in national tv!" Having said that, I do like this trick and Adrian's Virtual OOTW. Importantly, I have not yet performed Virtual Triumph (I'm a slow learner). For what it's worth, I performed Virtual OOTW in a recent show (only the first 10% of the trick because I forgot what to do next). My performance of OOTW was likely the worst performance of OOTW ever...but they seemed to love it. Or at least the participant loved it, that's what I remember. I ended the trick when she guessed the first 2 cards correctly and virtually shat herself with joy. I've performed over 50 virtual shows now. I know how enthusiastic audiences are to do something with their own deck of cards. I've been on a quest for magic that happens in their hands. I'm still undecided about Virtual Triumph and Virtual OOTW; I like both, but I'll let my audiences decide whether they'll stay in my show (after testing). Of course there will be compromises if my goal is to make the magic happen in their hands. It's disappointing to hear magicians discard a trick because it has a compromise ("That's too procedural" etc.). Your job as a magician is to make that compromise pass unnoticed. In a perfect world, I could, without any compromise, from a thousand miles away, make magic happen in their hands. So now I'm trying to prioritize the strength of the trick and whether the magic happens in their hands. I expect someone will reply that the above is a false dichotomy, that you can present the strongest magic + it happens in their hands + via webcam. You may be right; I appreciate your optimism. Still, I think it's worth assigning a weight to each. If I can achieve the magic in their hands, I am willing to sacrifice the strength of the effect. The question is, How much loss is acceptable? How much additional compromise am I willing to accept in chasing the "in their hands" magic? |

I don't see any problem of post an effect that is created by a friend and it work really well.
Im not a very active member of the Café but I believe that that effect was worth to comunicate with others. Nobody pay me or ask me to do it.... Regardless if you are okay or not with my post, if you try the triumph you will now that work, and work very well. |

I just purchased this. Liking it so far, but have not tried it out on my friends and family yet. Like many here, my only wish would have been purchase of the download only (sans gimmick) for $10 or so, as I already had gimmicks.
I'm curious, to those that are using this, how many of you are actually using the gimmicked version on the magician's end? Mr. Lacroix teaches some pretty convincing "shows" when exhibiting a mixed up packet WITHOUT the gimmicks. I've played with both and I may probably go with non gimmicked version with his convincers. |

For those of you that have Virtual Triumph, here is my addition:
Instead of using that 'extra Ace', I use a double indexed Queen card (QS / QD), which gives it a much more believable display when you are showing 'both sides' of your mixed up stack. You could also use a QS / QC card (or a QH / QD card), but I prefer using a black Queen / red Queen, if you know what I mean. ps) I use the 4 Queens instead of the 4 Aces. This method will also work nicely with the Kings or Jacks.
