Dear friends,
I have created two new effects that will be available tomorrow for FREE on Inject 2.0 This is the evolution of the LOVE Colors effect that was released in 2015 in Inject 1.0 This is how these effects differ from the existing color match effects that are currently on the market: - The magician has no visible tech. - The magician never peeks or gets any form of notification. - Perform repeatedly without worrying about "interference" from previous performances. - As seen on the video, they have a free choice of any color AND a free choice of what to color! - When the performance is done, the prediction image NEVER changes. - They receive and look at the image BEFORE you start! - With the web album effect, the spectator freely chooses any image in the album, but the freely chosen colors MATCH!! - Fully Customizable ... use any image with any number of colors. cheers, Greg Rostami |

I forgot to mention ...
You can give the link to the photo to as many people as you like at the same time. This means if you're performing in a Zoom video show, you can give the image link to EVERYONE at the show. If you're performing on stage, everyone in your audience can go to the image on their device and experience the amazing surprise ending in their hands!! Magic on - G Ro |

This is great Greg!
Really ingenious idea, owning Inject and Picasso each in their own league. Thanks for the heads up. |

For starters, I have had Inject for years and years, I love it. However, I also have Picasso Pro. In my opinion, with the Love effect being "released" (although it has been available for years), this is disgusting. I
have nearly all of Greg's apps and they are great, but this is just plain childish. I have never said anything in the past bad about Greg, but looking at this and his behavior with DFB and ReaList, it cannot be excused. Greg is trying to constantly improve his app, which is a great thing. However, at this point it is getting ridiculous to add features like this right after another app releases. It is blatantly immature and wrong. I don't like ellusionist either, with the way they handled the Harrison Greenbaum and FU Trick. But I have to side with ellusionist on this one. They made a colour match with THE PERSON who made the effect what it is today (Craig). Before Greg announced this, he was on the Picasso thread toting about a capability of SCI that does something similar. I also love the work being done with SCI, however, 1. It isn't endorsed by Craig 2. Its wrong to post about it on a thread nothing to do with Inject. To respond to the Not-so-Smooth Criminal, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if you are Greg on a second account. You don't seem to get that the reason this is bad is the timing of it, if he had wanted to share this great update with us, why did he wait til after Picasso released. To sum up, in the past I have felt bad for Greg in the sense that many of his app ideas were taken and republished as different apps among different app stores, however, now I am not sure if I feel that way anymore because this behavior makes him look like a jealous child.

Picasso pro and inject's color match effect are totally different effects. Greg just chose to release this after picasso pro maybe - because of competition or maybe - its just coincidence(i don't know!). But what is wrong in either! (Nothing!)
Yes, I agree that greg has infiltrated many forums - which is wrong. |

This is very different from the Picasso app released by Ellusionist, in fact you cannot replicate Greg's effect with the app from Ellusionist.
My hope is that Greg does not allow for any features on his app to recreate the Picasso Routine as that is the intellectual property of Craig Filicetti. Ellusionist are the only company besides Craig's authorized to use it. |

Greg's color match with Love while it is good just doesn't seem quite as impressive as Craig's color match. Maybe I just like pictures vs letters.

On May 7, 2020, Smooth Criminal wrote: I'm sorry, but I feel the need to chime in here. First of all, Mac_Stone never said that Greg's method was better - merely that it was different. I would agree. With Picasso, the prediction can be physical (non-digital), whereas with this Inject version, the prediction seems to have to be on the spectator's phone. Personally, I prefer the former, but neither is inherently superior. Secondly, Picasso is in no way a "ripoff" of this particular trick with Inject. They have completely different origins - Greg's seems to stem from an older Inject routine, whereas E's is a digitalisation of ProMystic's Colour Match effect (made with Craig's explicit consent). As such, there is no "original" trick. They are both different. I do, however, think that it is (at the very least) peculiar for Greg to release this version so soon after Picasso's release - I find it hard not to see it as a cash grab, with him intending to show his trick's superiority over Picasso. It may have been smart to wait a while to avoid this sort of backlash (or at least attempt to not once again derail a thread by continuously referencing his own products). In any case, it would be helpful if you - Smooth Criminal - could stop with your very loaded and accusatory comments (and your quoting cherry-picked segments of others' comments to support your own biased viewpoint). They don't do anybody any good, and certainly don't improve your standing here on the Café. |

Got to be honest, I’m just getting a bit sick of apps in general now.

I never post, I try to never get involved in any of this, but it is shocking the way that some people are taking this. My issue with this is not that Greg is "innovating" or revamping old effects, but that it is out of jealousy.
He lacks understanding about timing. Smooth/Greg, I would appreciate it if next time you quote me, you put it in context. Greg's take on this was never for me, but it may be for some people. I also understand that Inject is incredibly capable of doing many things, but the fact is that when this app was released he was on the Facebook group asking for people to demo it for him in exchange for showing them something. He was doing market research on a product purely so he could respond with something that inject can do. This, to me, is spiteful, and honestly distasteful. Greg, inject is a great app, it really is, but you don't have to try and wreck another perfectly fine app just so you can get the last laugh. Respectfully, John McIntyre
