Little Richard passed away. Great rock ’n’ roll legend who influenced many future recording stars and, among other things, befuddled the censors with his lyrics.

RIP Little Richard Penniman. Like Arthur says, a "legend", at the very beginning of rock and roll. His many interviews are fun to read. I recently saw him do a cameo in an old Columbo show...just delightful. Lynn

One of the last of the original rock-n-rollers. He did so much for bringing together blacks and whites through his music at atime where that just didn't exist. He was quite a guy that doesn't always seem to get the credit he deserves with his place in rock-n-roll history. RIP.
