Hi all,
See picture: this is a set of 4 gaffed cards I acquired about 30 years ago to perform an mentalism routine by Larry Becker (Grin and Bear it, for those who know, it featured on an old Greater Magic Library video from Stevens Magic Emporium). In the picture, there is only 1 gaffed card and the regular QH, but the full set set consists of: regular QH and 4 gimmicked (double indexed) QH with other different court cards. The set basically allows you to force 1 out of 5, the QH being the force card. I only have this set in Piatnik stock, which makes the use of the cards a bit inconsistent since I use Bicycle of Hoyle for the rest of my repertoire. My question was: 1) Is the same set of gaffed cards available in Bicycle stock? 2) Are there other tricks that use the same cards? (Name and reference please?) -> This can be the same packet of cards or another set of cards (or even a whole deck) that contains the same cards in bicycle stock. Click here to view attached image.

I don’t know about a small packet version, but the Mastermind (a.k.a. Monte Cristo) Deck is a full gaffed deck of Bicycle cards like that, from which you could use just a small packetful for your purposes, it seems to me.

Hi Karnak,
Thanx for the feedback. I am familiar with the Mastermind deck, but I'm not looking for double indexed cards like the Hamman Final Aces or Michael Skinners Ultimate 3 card monte. I'm specifically looking for court cards like in the photo.

In that case, you might need to look to one of the several expert card splitters/gaffers who could hand-make for you a custom set.

Yes, I'm beginning to sense that will be the case. I contacted Stevens Magic since the cards were used in one of their marketed videos from the 90's and they said the set was specifically made for the Larry Becker routine and they haven't seen those sets of cards for years...
Thanks for the input anyways.

Try these people: printbymagic.com in UK.
If you look around the site they have a magicians tag. Look under misindexed cards and you should find what you need. In English pounds £Stg, and not especially cheap (£2 = ~$2.50) and then you'll have to factor in postage - but they're there if you need them. C
