Actually, I think this story IS very magical, but this was the best place I could think of to post it.
I've bought dozens (hundreds?) of things from sellers here through the years, and besides one bad transaction long ago, they've all worked out great. Lately I've had a lot more sellers throw in "a little something extra" with my purchase. I don't know if it's because of the times, or because I'm such a nice guy, but it's been really great and I really appreciate it. But something happened today that I would never have imagined. I have a ten-year-old deck of Erdnase Bee cards that I really love but are beyond usable and no longer available, and I'd recently been looking at them and lamenting that fact. Then I got "a little something extra" in today's package: a brand new sealed deck of the exact same cards. I still can't believe it. Now that's magic! |

Wow, what a great experience!
To my knowledge & experience, 'extras' haven't been a thing in magic b/s/t, but maybe that is changing. I know it is very common in the world of Yoyo b/s/t. These days there are tons of high performance yoyos made of aluminum that cost $20 - $150 and up, and many times sellers will throw in extra quality string, a bearing or two, or even a less expensive yoyo. But to get a desired item out of the thousands of items you could have received is so cool!
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".
