Hey guys!
My latest effect "Get Out" was just released with Vanishing Inc Magic. I'll quickly leave a link to the trailer in case you want to cut to the chase and get this over with. Trailer -> https://www.vanishingincmagic.com/card-magic/get-out/ We have an extremely limited quantity as each and every gimmick is painstakingly made by myself with love. It's like a home-cooked meal. I would love to open a conversation with anyone here who has purchased this in the past at conventions and be at service to ask any questions you may have. Product Description: "Get Out" by Timothy Paul is the perfect addition to your close-up set. It's rare that you can add an interlude that offers a clear premise, comedy relief, and visual magic, all in one moment. The effect is simple: you fail to find a selected card, and so instead suggest using a "Get Out of Jail Free" card from a popular board game. The card then disappears and reappears as a playing card...the selected card. What you receive with "Get Out" is a stunning, handmade gaff that allows you to change a small board game piece into a playing card. Splitting cards, small magnets, and a lot of painstaking time have been spent hand-crafting each of these gimmicks. They will last a lifetime and there's no moving parts that can wear out, snap, break, or come loose. It will work forever. "Get Out" is an ideal piece for formal close-up, parlor, or strolling magic, and the gaff comes with an instructional download in which creator Timothy Paul takes you through every step of the process. Includes handmade gimmick and online instructions. Trailer -> https://www.vanishingincmagic.com/card-magic/get-out/ |

Thank you for the full performance.
Im very close to purchasing this as it fits my performance style. Does the gimmick require me to keep it on display like shown in the video or can I just as easily pull it out of pocket or wallet when ready to make the change? Might be a silly question but It has me curious. |

I enjoy having it on display for more “formal” performances but I usually keep one in my wallet or under the cellophane during walk around. I go over a bunch of different ways to handle this in the download so I’m sure you’ll find one that suits you best. |

Pulled the trigger on this, as I haven't made a purchase in quite sometime and I gotta' say that I'm not disappointed after watching the first few minutes of the demo to get a look at the gimmick and the workings of it
Just by what I've seen so far it should last you quite sometime with proper care, one part of the gimmick will most likely outlast the other. The only negative I can point out at this time is a noise issue but maybe Timothy covers the later int he tutorial. The video is around an hour long and beautiful produced. He speaks slowly and clear so the instructions are easy to follow. Im looking forward to receiving this in the mail and can give a more in depth review but this is my thoughts as of now. Thanks for the release Timothy! best, Brandon |

Are other handlings for the change discussed or is the handling in the demo the only option that is taught?

I'm assuming you are restricted to one value of card. Cards overtime, get dirty, it's the nature of the beast. You say it will last a lifetime. The gimmick may but what about the cards?
Guilt will betray you before technique betrays you!

Although once you receive the gimmick you can easily explore different options suiting your style. I go in-depth discussing tempo, rhythm, and multiple ways to clean up. The download is just shy of one hour and I go over a couple different routines and handlings including a multiple selections routine, four of a kind locations, and my personal favorite is where the get out card changes places with a selection in between the spectators hands. This starts clean by actually handing the Get Out of Jail Free card to the spectator for them to examine/hold. I hope that answers your question and gives you some insight on the download. I truely believe the value in the this is much more than the handling of the change itself and more the applications and routines taught! |

Been out of town the past week but finally got my hands on the gimmick and I have to say I’m impressed with the get out jail card part of it but I’m a little disappointed in the quality of the playing card provided. Still doesn’t change my mind on the overall effect but I kind of expected one part of the gimmick to outlast the other like I stated before.
Granted these are handmade. |

I’m also skeptical about the authenticity of the get out jail card. I’ll need to do a side by side comparison.

I was keen to get this at first but I feel Brandon 90 is a little underwhelmed now he has the gimmick in hand. “ these are hand made “ good or bad thing??
