Zoom has revitalized my interest in manipulation. I’ve been playing with the ambitious card routine using the Ace,2 3 4 & 5 of a suit.
At the end the 5 changes to a stranger card. Can anyone remember the name and creator of this easy to follow (for the spectators) effect. I like the middle of the effect where instead of the 3 returning to the top it turns face down after being put in face PM me if you think that necessary.

Bruce Cervon does that exact trick with the Ace, 2, 3 and 4 of a suit with the 4 changing to a stranger card. He was inspired by a Ray Grismer effect. He claims that Dai Vernon liked it and started doing it himself. He also says that Derek Dingle came up with his own handling and published it as well as doing it on a national television show.
It's called "A Matter of Psychology" and you can find it in his "Ultra Cervon" book or DVD. |
