MY BOOK’S 10th ANNIVERSARY!!!
• Yep—my Magic book “Tales of Enchantment” had been in continuous publication for ten years!
• Magicians know most books in their genre usually don’t have a long life, but “Tales” has been a best-seller since the first edition and I’m so proud of that.
• Special thanks to everyone past and present who helped the book get into print and Kostya Kimlat and Robert Neale for their forewords.
• Very few used copies pop-up so people keep and re-read them over the years. And I love hearing from many performers who’ve been inspired by my thoughts.
• The paperbound is available from Penguin Magic, Magic, Inc. and some local dealers. I have some of the hardcopy edition. “Tales Of Enchantment: The Art of Magic” by Walt Anthony © 2010

A FEW READER REVIEW EXCERPTS:
• “Tales of Enchantment is, for me, one of the most important books in my collection.”
• “This splendid text was ahead of its time. If it came out now, it would attract a stampede.”
• “I'm completely involved in Walt Anthony's approach to storytelling magic. It's a great reminder that Magic is a performance art.”
• “Walt is an amazing writer and amazing thinker that has done an excellent job of making this an easy, but highly useful read. It really helps you make something special and more magical than just an effect by itself.”
• “Walt shows us how to engage people's imaginations, help them suspend disbelief, and even catalyze transcendent feeling within a performance. This is the author's approach to Magic Theater.”
• “If my house were burning down, I'd grab my wife and kids, wallet and important papers... and this book.”

The book is as marvelous, and now more timely, than when it first came out.

This book opens the mind to very creative presentations that can be done with previously-thought-of obsolete props. Recommended.
