Hi there,

I just ordered Andrew Mayne's Specter Cabinet. I haven't seen it yet but thought it would be good for corporate shows. I just wanted to get anyones opinion on the illusion, preferably someone who owns it or has seen it done.

Experience the Magic.

Depends on the venue...this is more of a "stage only" kind of trick. By the way there is a topic on this effect somewhere else on this forum.

Specter cabinet is not good for corporate work (unless your show is in a full-fledged theater). This is a stage illusion that requires complete control of theatrical lighting, and I recommend (as does the manual) a touch of fog to give it more body. An excellent concept, but not one that can just be set up and performed under any circumstance.

By the way - I built one and am performing it this weekend, so I should know.

Great illusion but as spkrosky says you need full control over lighting and you need to be on a stage with a reasonable distance from the audience. The fog is a good idea.

I am in the process of building mine now. Good luck with it.
