I've just been reading a thread about unicycling and some have asked what the best uni's are and where the best place to get them is.
Well you can't go wrong with a Miyata uni, these are Japanese uni's that have been manufactured for over a century and are probably the closest you'll come to perfection. They, and many more uni's, are available from http://www.unicycle.uk.com (based in the UK), or http://www.unicycle.co.nz (based in New Zealand), or http://www.unicycle.se (based in Sweden) and finally http://www.unicycle.com (based in the USA). The Miyata is used by some of the top unicyclists in the world and will withstand a hell of a lot of punishment. Hope you guys find this of some use. Roslyn ps, I don't unicycle myself but my girlfriend (a gold medal winner at the uni world championships in 2000) does and she swears that these are awsome.

My current unicycle is a Savage. Don't ever buy a Savage! Never, ever, ever! Also if you are learning to idle, get the biggest freaking wheel you can, at least 24".

Unless you're about 8 years old or 4' tall, then a 16" is good. :o)

Whatever unicycle you get, make sure that you don't leave it visible in the back of your car.
I've had more of my cars broken in to for my unicycles than radar detectors, stereos, etc. There's just something about a unicycle... |
