Hi, am interested in purchasing a hopping half set from Roy, noticed different finishes, soft, remilled, regular etc, does it really make a difference if the hopping half set is soft and remilled? anyone have this set that they can provide a review on or any pictures of their set?

His hopping half sets are wonderful for the money. The one thing to keep in mind is unless you specifically ask for pre-1921 coins as a soft set, he will artificially soften 1921 coins and while beautiful; if you have coin gaff ocd like myself, it doesn’t look like a “natural” wear.

Soft coins purpose is to keep them from "talking" (sound). Re-milled is for better grip and handling.
