When I tried to go on the L&L Publishing Website this evening a page opened up which stated that L&L Publishing has been sold to Murphy’s Magic.
The L&L Website is no more. Earlier in the month, I received the e mail L&L typically sends out to its customers this time of year offering certain DVDs for $10.00 each. Does anyone know if Murphy’s will still honor that offer? Thank you to the late Louis Falanga and his dedicated staff for many years of excellent service and quality products! They will all be missed. |

Questions:
1) Will we continue to have unlimited access to previous (and future) downloads? 2) Will Murphy's continue to add older videos to the site for purchase as downloads? I was a very satisfied customer of L&L - they (and Louis) will be missed! |

Last week I was ordering from L & L and noticed that several titles were out of stock there and at other retailers. It made me wonder if they were ever going to be produced again.
With the acquisition by Murphy's, I'm sure that the back catalog will continue to be available, but the sale prices will never be seen again. Good news and bad news at the same time. |

We all have our favorite dealers, so I'd suggest you ask yours if they have a plan. We've all ordered stuff only to find a sale price on it the following month, I guess. Some smaller retailers are willing to clue you in if they have certain promotions coming up. |

Murphy's seems to hold big sales once or twice a year, and those savings are passed on through the retailers. So they may decide to continue the traditional L&L deep discounts. Evan |

Over the past months I bought quite a few of L&L's $5 DVD spring and summer sale specials. They had some great titles in those, and I'd say some less-greats as well, but 5 bucks? I mean come on! I'm guessing the sales were based mostly on existing stock. This will date me, but I even re-bought titles that I had originally purchased on VHS, which I'd always been loath to do because I'm cheap and hate to pay for the same thing twice. Just a couple of weeks ago they had all their titles on sale for $10 each, and I ordered 6, filling out a few that never came up for $5. Sure glad I did! I wish I'd known this whole thing was coming up, I would have pried my wallet open a little further and got a few more. I also wish I'd picked up even more of the $5 ones. I kinda figured they'd come around again eventually.
I was actually planning to make a post along the lines of "Is it just me or is L&L blowing out their DVDs?", but never got around to it. I had noticed that a lot of titles weren't available on DVD from them anymore, and the fact that they were selling others pretty cheap made me wonder if they were planning to reprint them at all. I know lots of folks aren't into the whole DVD thing now, preferring downloads instead, but I like to have the physical media when possible. So I was hoping certain things would become available, and eventually be on sale, again. Obviously I can't say what will happen with Murphy's. I like them just fine, but I'm guessing the days of $5 or $10 specials are over, which as a frugal person saddens me. I got a few fantastic deals on great books (Chronicles, Al Schneider) from them in the last couple of years as well, like 60% off. You just can't beat that! I wish Murphy's success with the L&L line, and hope they put all of the DVDs back into print. I'll miss L&L for sure. Ben |

I also received the email above but have yet to receive a "free trick". Anyone know what's up with that?

L and L, many great memories, Their DVD's, VHS kept me learning as a teen in the late 90's to mid 2000's. Excellent teachings from many pros.
