Imagine: A spectator makes a drawing on a single piece of card with no need to learn on any writing surface..They seal it into a regular pay envelope themselves. This whole time you are across the room from them and facing away... They place this envelope in their pocket. You know with certainty what they have drawn. Every time.
Yes, they really do seal their drawing inside of the envelope themselves. Yes, that very envelope and their drawing goes into their own pocket. No, you never see their drawing, or touch it. Until after you have read their mind. No, they never show it to you. No, you are not guessing, this is a real method. No, there are no electronics. Yes, you can leave the room as they draw and not return until it is inside of the envelope. Yes, it is completely self contained. Yes, they can keep everything. Yes, it only uses normal office stationary. Yes, It is that good! That was the ad. Very intriguing, especially if you never go near the envelope. I just wonder if there's something that you take back from The spectator after they did their drawing. The ad went on to say that there is no electronics. Sounds to clean to be true but I guess you never know!

Hello,
The webpage for is now live and makes for much easier pre ordering of CTRL-C I have been inundated with emails, questions and even some phone calls about CTRL-C. I assure you that this is a very real system that really works and one that you can depend upon. It uses no technology and you can carry it with you everywhere and always be ready. The spectators drawing really is placed into a normal envelope by them and with you at a distance and although there is ‘something’ at play here (many layers in fact) that drawing that really is in that envelope really does go into your spectators pocket. You can duplicate that drawing, every time. The revelation can be done verbally, by drawing yourself or a combination of the two. Thanks so much! Christopher

Your site states that this comes with professionally graded material specifically sourced. Would I eventually need re-fills? Do you provide re-fills or can I purchase the material myself elsewhere?

Hi Magicinsight,
Thanks for your post. CTRL-C is a complete set, which means that you get literally everything you need to perform it successfully. That being said everything used is normal so you could of course source the items yourself once what's included is written on and performed with. Personally I only use each envelope once when I perform this. Much like anything where a spectator has to write or draw, materials are 'used up'. The materials you receive with your oder are of the highest quality and save you a trip to a staples, office depot etc which can prove especially difficult at the moment. I will be offering the provided materials to people that pick up CTRL-C for a super reasonable price down the line after the release, should people not wish to search for envelopes they like etc. So yes, yes and yes. I hope that helps and I know that if you do pick this up, you'll be extremely happy with your investment. Many thanks, Christopher

"The Perfect Method"! Well, we know Christopher has been obsessed with this plot for many years -as have many of us! -so that is a very exciting claim. I guess the obvious question is, from the participant's point of view, are we talking 'envelope' or 'envelopes'? If the former we may be in holy grail territory.

That raises a great point, anyone who pre orders CTRL-C here: http://c-r-products.yolasite.com/CTRL-C.php before December 7th will also be included in a Zoom call with myself and everyone else that pre orders. During which we'll be covering any questions anyone might have, talking about Mentalism and I'll be sharing an additional unpublished routine. Those who can't make it or do not use Zoom will have the recorded call sent to them for their reference. This is only for people that PRE ORDER. Martin, thank you for your post. I really believe that is where we are...but obviously I am biased! Dreda - Yes, the spectator draws with the card in their hand or anywhere... with you at a distance and facing away. When they have completed the drawing they immediately seal it into the envelope you have already given them. This whole time you are still away from them. gotgot - No performance video for two reasons, main one being we're in lockdown and it's impossible to film this anywhere. Even when lockdown was not fully in force, coffee shops and creative spaces here in Manchester were take out only, and it's been like that for some time. Hope that help everyone! Christopher

Can the spectator draw whatever they want or are they limited?
Thanks |

Sparda - they can draw anything they would like.
Luca - thank you! To be clear, this is not a 'Limited Release' simply, I am only able and willing to produce 25 sets before the end of the year. Thanks all! Christopher

Christopher,
I'm genuinely interested, and I have some questions : 1. Can this be used for words instead of just drawings? 2. Can the spectator keep the drawing and the envelop without discovering the work ? 3. If the props are just stationery items, why not offer a download only version for those of us who would prefer that ? |

I'm happy to answer them, although (to everybody and with respect) can we please be sure that this thread doesn't become a guessing game of what may or may not be involved with this. 1, I have always used this for drawings, in theory yes, in practice I really couldn't say at the moment. 2, Absolutely they can, that is one of the elements that makes this so great! 3, Downloads from my experience quickly get uploaded onto illegal sharing sites, so when I can I avoid that. I hope that helps you and I know that should you choose to pick up CTRL-C I'm extremely confident that you'll be both happy and satisfied. Thanks so much, Christopher

Hey Chris,
Thanks for the prompt response. CTRL-C sounds "too good to be true", and on the Café anything too good to be true usually ends up being Hug by Nesfech. In regards to downloads, there are a lot of us in countries where the mail has become considerably slow due to the epidemic. This is why we prefer downloads. Anyway, all the best with the effect. |

Hey Christopher, as far as formal versus casual performance, is this geared more towards one or the other?
Would you feel comfortable doing this in casual, informal settings? |
