Have you looked at David Roth's Planet or Rainbow routines? There is a good video where these are shown. Or you could find them in ECM.

The coin changes in the Roth routines do NOT involve any gaffs.
Just the basic EG coin change stuff should work for you then. Curtis Kam covers some of this and Kainoa Harbottle covers more, and advanced stuff. I believe Gary Kurtz also discussed some of this in his book.

The best handling I could find for in the hands Wild Coin is a minor varient of Nate Kranzo's "Mugger" from his DVD "Visual VooDoo".
Nate's routine uses a cup (mug) to hold the changed coins so that at the end they can be changed back. My presentation didn't require the change back so I simply drop them in my pocket after each change. Short, direct and very nicely handled. Plus, the DVD has Nate's too cool for words "The Card That Can't Be Palmed". |

Mickey Silver has a color change that is a killer .it is his and hope he will put this on his dvd
The coin his held between the fingers he graps the coin which is now say silver and it changres to dollar to chineese in his finger tips |

Sounds sorta familiar....there's at least three different three coin in-the-hands changes from American to Chinese, no gaffs, just moderate practice, on "Fists of Fury: Palms of Steel 2". After a production sequence, and a coins across, three silver dollars change all at once, then back singly, then all at once again. Then more stuff happens, including yet another change. No gaffs, your hands are full already.
In fact, that DVD has more in-the-hands-gaffless-three-coin-American-to-Chinese handlings than any other I can think of.

Curtis I would like to plug your dvd Fists of fury, In MHO I believe your dvd an Paul Cummins video Up In Smoke should be on top of the list for any serious coin worker.
You are correct coin changes are very familar, however Mickey Silvers is very different the coin is held in rt hand finger tips the coin is turned over in the finger tips and it then changes to a chineese coin which is turned all around the hand seemling is empty. vinny |

Since Mickey Silver might not his DVD set to go this month, the student who needs a result might want to go after Curtis's Video for now, and perhaps Paul Cummins' video too. Curtis's Palms of Steel volume 2 has some very effective stand up coin routines that involve coin changes.

Vinny, thank you for the compliments, and I must apologize for being a bit unclear. I meant to say that the thing SIX is looking for "sounds familiar", since, as you know, that's sort of what that DVD is all about.
I have not had the opportunity to see Mickey do the change, although I can imagine a few ways how he might go about it. Strangely enough, I was looking for Mickey's tape this morning, and it seems to have disappeared completely! Perhaps I never really had the tape, and just saw the image of the tape momentarily?

Nathan,
You will... you will. But while it only took about half an hour to learn the trick it may take me years before I get the script where I want it. You know how long it took me to write the script for my T&R card... |

I will have to check the book or siver surf 2 notes when I get home, but I remember reading the change as an intro to use the coins in CCC-it may very well be gaffed.
dug As "quickerthan" pointed out troy's handlings do use a gaff-page 49 in destroyers and page 12 in silver surf 2. however you r left ready to go into CCC w/o gaffs. dug
