I am thinking of buying a camera. One can buy a good old professional film camera for about £100 but good professional digital cameras are a £1000 or more.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

If you are not doing professional photography, for the amount of a good old professional film camera you can get a comparably priced digital camera that takes pictures just as good as a high end film camera from a few years ago with all the benefits of digital photography vs film. Even a good smart phone takes equal or better pictures.
