Looks good, but hope this is more than a s****.
https://www.penguinmagic.com/p/14843 "Over the many years Dai Vernon would mention, "Many magicians don’t get it and stop thinking too early." The Professor was certainly not referring to R. Paul Wilson. "Right On The Money" exemplifies, once again, R. Paul Wilson’s very clever thinking." - Howard Hamburg "This is simply the BEST money prediction effect...EVER. The psychology, misdirection, etc are classic RPW. I love it!" - Michael Kaminskas "This is such a strong effect that will cost you less then a dollar to make up and perform I can not wait to add this to my magic and bar bets show." - Erick Olson On The Money is a fantastically offbeat effect that you can give to your audience like a delayed action miracle. You’re audience can choose to experience the magic now, or to have a enjoy the magic later at a time of their choosing. This is going to be something you will want to carry with you all the time. Here’s what happens: Change is gathered up from a group and placed in a glass. A plastic bag empty save for a single folded slip of paper is introduced. A spectator is invited to pinch a random amount of coins from the glass which is then dropped inside the bag with the slip of paper and then sealed. Now the audience member is given the bag, the coins, and the prediction and given the option to open it now, or later. Whenever they choose. When they do open it written on the piece of paper is the exact amount of change they chose to put in the bag. R Paul Wilson has done all the work to make this minor miracle play with incredible power. Easy to do, and requiring no gimmicks this one is perfect for when you want to leave a lasting impression on your audience. This is On The Money. |

It does look good and has some good verified buyer reviews, I just don't know how practical coins are nowadays - I never carry cash.

It does look like a simple sw..tch of the coins used.

Definately not a magician fooler, but I don't really care about such things. My hesitation is that it would seem kind of strange to be carrying around a plastic baggie. This is also the kind of trick that's probably best suited for casual situations like with friends at a bar. That said, I prefer Gregory Wilson's Exact Change, which feels more organic and spontaneous.

As he explains in the download, the real special thing here is the moment you create. You’ll have to watch the instruction to understand what he means.
Interesting, the “move” in the demo is not the best take on the video. In teaching it he executes it in a far more visually deceptive manner. And you learn the little details which are gleaned from working this in the real world. Definitely something people will be talking about long after the magician has vanished... if you sell it right. |

I am not gonna lie, have not been that excited about recent P3 downloads but this one is one I like and will use. I will also use this in a virtual show.
While a spectator cannot grab coins for you, you can grab a nice size chunk of coins and mix them and then drop coins in the glass one at a time until they tell you to stop, you place whatever is left in the zip lock and tack it to a board behind you for later or show the prediction matches right a way. |

Jared, I agree about this being a casual type of trick.
As far as carrying a baggie, this is not the first trick that uses them. The first one I can remember was a card trick, Hefty Penetration, in the book Magic Hedonists in the Bahamas, another one is Bag 4 Life, by Mark Bendell I guess if someone is doing those, they will already have a baggie. |

After thinking more about this effect, I've concluded that this might be an interesting way to hand out your business card (with the prediction written on the back) in casual situations to perspective clients (In fact, I think it mentions this idea on the trailer)... ("I'm going to place your change inside this bag along with a prediction that I made earlier today. When you get home tonight, have a look and see if I predicted correctly. And if you were entertained, please keep me in mind for future parties and events." But again, the only issue is whether it seem 'normal' to be carrying around little baggies. That would be an individual preference that will vary by person. But as a real-time prediction I do not care for this effect. IMO it makes no sense to place a bunch of loose change and place it inside a bag only to remove it two seconds later...Why wouldn't you just ask the person to count the change they grabbed? ...Why are we placing it inside a bag? So, again if this is being used as a sales tool then I could see this as being a useful effect to have in your arsenal. But for a real-time prediction with loose change, I still prefer my Exact Change because it seems more organic. |

This might be for sure worthwhile in some ways. I think that the method can be spotted in the trailer.
For 5 times the money you can get a book by Barrie Richardson with much great material and as well effects with a similar premise. |
