Is there a way to learn how to do it w/out buying it?
Well to put it in a simpler form, I want to learn how to do a fairly good levitation for free Jake |

If you're at the Café just trying to get free solutions to tricks your posts will not be very well received.
Most magicians here spend a heck of a lot of money to learn things from other magicians. To read "where can I learn to levitate..... for free" "Where can I learn to swallow a balloon..... for free" is not going to be all that appealing. And yes, we already know that you don't have any money to spend on magic. You can learn king rising from ellusionist, I suppose. you can learn to swallow a balloon from the Steve Bedwell Video, "No M.D. Required" and probably elsewhere. Perhaps a better approach would be to go to the section on buying and selling and write that you'd like to buy one of these items USED if anyone is willing to sell for a good price. Good Luck, Frank

Dude, buy It! It's really worth it. It is even better than the Balducci levitation. And check out http://www.ellusionist.com for their new Aliun levitation.

I cant wait till aliun levitation is out. I hear it's kind of pricey though. Some were around 1500 so I'll just watch the videos. I wont be buying it for a long time.
i dont call 911, i simpily perform the bullet catch and than point the bullet at them and ask if they care to try.

If you were to buy a levitation for $1500 then it would be close to that of a floating girl. I think that wouldn't even be worth selling if it were $1500.

I think King rising is pathetic! Any levitation you have to cover your feet before and after you levitate sucks. Learn the balducci for an impromptu levitation, or just get the elevator.
Supposedly the Aliun is supposed to feel like you are levitating. I want to know how that is supposed to work. For that much though... That's a lot for a street levitation, especially if you can only levitate a few inches. If you could go up a few feet...

Well, turning your back is the same thing. You still need cover to do the move. I did "wild" levitation as soon as it hit the stores 3 or so years ago and nobody had any complaints about having to use a jacket or even questioned it. As far as King Rising, if you do your homework you only cover them for a second, not during the whole thing. I'm glad I bought it. When you decide you want to invent a levitation better than Corey's, come tell us about it. He isn't doing too badly from what I hear and he's only 16.

Actually Corey is 19 now. And there are other ways to do this levitation without the cover up, my friend came up with a way but it was then stolen by one of the mods on that website and claimed as his own.

Same difference, the point is he made it... he's doing what we all want to do. Love it or hate it, he's got the most talked about levitation in magic. I wish I had been brainstorming. I just got a floating / vanishing effect that I'm putting out and showed to laymen & they dig it. I have people stopping in their tracks just to watch me, it's carazy!!! I plan to aim it at the public, guys starting out that want something strong. I did it outside in the sun. 'm telling you, it will be hot. That's ****** that someone took his idea, but it happens. Some people are too ****** to come up with their own ideas, so they take someone else's or they have to step on it. Guys with no talent end up secretly loving it and wishing they had thought of it first. Keep it up Corey, if your out there man, it can only get better. Hey man, don't hate the player.hate the game.

King Rising is good. But the set up and ending is a problem.but I think there are some ways to doing it without any cover.I've find one.but it can be figured out quite easily.so still I'm performing it with the cover.anyone know's any idea to doing the setup without cover?

I think it is discussed in the forums at Ellusionist protik. I think discussing that sort of thing would be better off in secret sessions (once you have enough posts to get there).
magicswan, I too agree with what james said, if you can't make a post that at least makes sense or even a complete sentence, then don't post. |

I'm thinking about buying it. The Balducci is too hard to do well (and far too easy to to it badly).
Does anybody know how restrictive it is angle-wise? |

I agree with what James said also. It's called "making sense".

Must be a pretty imaginative kid that corey guy. I'm only 17 and I aint invented anything yet.
anyways... this king rising business, I aint looking for any answers but it is in anyway similar to the balducci?, in terms of angles, performance etc. off the subject... has anyone ever had like a hot streak with the balducci where they just nail it every time for about 4 weeks?? it happend to me and I got so confident with it. it only took a bit of laziness with my practice for me to fall back to square 1. |
