Many magicians will remember the spectacular closing act of the late great German Magician Rolf Dinardi as he filled the stage with a seemingly impossible array of brightly coloured flowers from a box. I am currently researching his life and work in preparation to leave a written record of him for magical history.
Can YOU help?

I am looking for photographs and information about his act, did you book him? Did you meet him? Did you work with him? Are you connected in any way to his descendants?

If you have memories from conventions where we was the closing act or a story about him you would like preserving for history please contact me.

The act is on youtube and was later bought by Peki of Germany. Wittus Witt may be able to help you.

Thanks for the info. I have contacted Peki and he has confirmed that, whilst his act was similar to Dinardis, it is in no way connected. Peki made all the flowers for his act himself.

The act from Owen's brothers was not the Dinardi or Blackstone act. It was Les Smith's act that he developed after seeing Blackstone Sr's act.

The flower act from Owen Brothers, I was posting, was in the 50's. WAY befor and NOT, Les Smith.

I stand corrected. I only have catalogs back to 1959 and it does not show the flower act. What catalog was this in? Any chance you could send me a quick scan of it?
Thanks.
Richard
