TT1 was excellent in my opinion - because as someone said earlier you could hand out the wallet with a post it note stuck on the inside, ask your spectator to draw on the post it note and close the wallet as your back was turned or you walked away. When you turned back round you could wrap some elastic bands around the closed wallet to 'seal' it even further and by then you had everything you needed. The only issue was the battery life and a battery that couldn't be replaced. Even so I had hours and hours of fun with this with minimal risk of the method being found.
TT2 if I remember correctly, gave us the ability to replace the battery but I never even used it live because the design had then changed and you had to get someone to sign a card and then you had to slide it into the correct place in the wallet. A backward step IMHO. All they had to do to make TT3 a winner is make TT1 with a replaceable battery! A better quality material would have been a bonus too. But from what I'm hearing this version sounds to be disappointing. |

Totally agree with the above 2 posts , that’s why I buy the mastermind and change the batteries myself but it does lack quality in the leather type material . It looks great when you get it but it wears very quick Gaz 😊

I am quite disappointed with this wallet.
In the explanation video, they show where you can use the wallet to "point" to the spectator's hand while getting your p***. In reality, it shines light from all corners of the wallet, making it impossible to use in most situations. You can't use it outdoors in the daylight, and if you use it indoors, the light illuminates your hand (or face/eyes if close enough). The gimmick is SUPER CLEVER, but VERY poorly executed. |

There will be a way of stopping the side light bleed ( although you shouldn’t have to ) . Also it’s good you can change the batteries but what about the bulb ? I have changed them before but admittedly leds last for donkeys years these days Gaz 😊

Hello All –
Patrick from Murphy’s here. I hope everyone is in good health!! So, we have made a couple of changes to the Thought Transmitter. Because John’s original Product worked exceptionally well; we did not want to go overboard with the changes. We will be coming out with a leather version in the future, but this will not be for a while. The last version had a VERY bright light and many people experienced “leakage”. We corrected this by using a dimmer bulb. Getting the brightness perfect for all conditions is very difficult as venues, outdoor – indoor conditions vary a great deal. We tried to find the right balance for the average user. We also added a disk protector between the inner button and the wallet. This will keep the wallet looking great for a very long time and you will not have any marks on the outside of the wallet caused by the inner button. As well, we have added an online tutorial with John’s original handling along with new handlings, routines and ideas. I hope this information helps. If anyone has any questions you can contact me at; Patrick@murphysmagic.com p |

Paw - Could you also address whether or not you're still using single or double layers over the secret part. As the last 15 or so wallets I've seen was just a single layer, so you didn't even need the light.
All the best, Dan |

It looks really great with something in the pocket before you start and you have a resin to take it out, and when you do it just looks like clear plastic with leather behind it!! Also some bank or credit cards in the pockets on the other (out)side... it really looks like a very flat leather wallet I LIKE Regards, John |

I have read some of the negative reviews, but I really like the Thought Transmitter Pro. Is it a high-quality leather wallet? No. It's essentially a packet-trick wallet. But the peek is so deceptive--and if performed well, imperceptible. I also appreciate that the battery is replaceable. I own many peek wallets (way too many!), and this will not be my EDC (that honor goes to my Secret Tannery Peek Note Wallet, though it will have to compete with the Shadow Wallet, which I ordered a few days ago). But I do see myself using this quite a bit. I definitely recommend it. The download is great, too. |

The Baldini Inner circle I some how pounded in 2445 Posts |
I received my last night, it’s virtually identical to the original perhaps a little cheaper quality, but the big improvement was the ability to replace the battery, very easy. You have to be careful in lighting conditions also. What would be great, is if it was made of leather. And the clear plastic window, just like the original is still bubbly and sticky.
My mastermind wallet should arrive today. So I can do a side-by-side comparison. |

From what I've read, the wallet is leather and of higher quality than the Thought Transmitter Pro, but the battery is not replaceable. It also seems to use post-it notes rather than business cards, although I'm not entirely sure. I'll be curious to hear your thoughts. |

There seems to be variations in the assembly and/or construction of the TT v2.
Someone talked about a RED filter. Someone said there were two filters, another mentions just one filter where supplied etc. etc. I got my TT v2 in 2019 and it was equipped with a RED led, and TWO GREY filters. I never had any problems with leaking side lights or any issues with something showing when it was not supposed to when the light was off. I use both filters. OK, the battery assemly could have been better, but it is not that hard to replace. I am quite happy about it, but just out of curiosity I ordered the Master Mind Wallet... |

It is entirely possible that there were variations. I found that my TT Pro (not TT Pro v3) came with both a dark filter and a red filter (along with the red light). The red filter alone wasn't enough by itself to hide the works. I like it, even with its (performance lighting) limitations.

Maybe it's just mine, but the light leaks out of every corner. Blatantly.

Pity...it is still perfectly usable in well lit situations but if there are people directly to my left I would have to cover that side of the wallet with my left hand when operating it with my right. That said, I've still got upwards of 180 degrees to work with w/out needing to use a hand for cover. Still a little more like working with IT than I would like, haha Especially when it could have been updated/upgraded yet kept the best aspects of the device. Maybe they felt some people would claim they were ripping off Magic Makers

If the wallet is held properly, the leakage shouldn't be an issue.

Mine doesn't "leak" either. The angles are actually pretty good; Javier has some helpful suggestions toward the end of the tutorial.

Surfing the net I actually found another version of this! It appears to be a USB chargeable battery. But considering the name and price point, I wouldn't expect much, haha.
