This week on Erudite Magic, we are discussing an important question: are books the best way for someone to start to learn magic in today's environment? There are so many more options today than there used to be, but while some things have changed, maybe nothing has really changed. 🤷♂️
Oh yeah, and during the video I'm going to give instructions on how you can win the OOP classic by John Bannon, Destination Zero. So tune in for both the discussion and the book!📖 I want to hear your thoughts❗ https://youtu.be/wctZyrFjfI0 |

Good topic. Needs to be discussed from different aspects.

Books are really good way to learn magic. Not only a good way but really cost-efficient way too (trick per dollar). Some of my best books were found at the second-hand store (Oxfam).
But if you are a total beginner, I think, video give you the simpler understanding of subject, especially if you learning sleights. Books, in other hand, give you a deeper understanding and deeper knowledge of the subject. |
