I picked this up from Alakazam after reading all the positive reviews and for my money this is the single-best card trick download released this year because it's a full-throttle powerhouse and I absolutely LOVE it! As someone else mentioned, it's similar in construction to JC Wagner's outstanding JC's Super Closer because all the cards 'right' themselves back into new deck order at the conclusion, yet it somehow feels a bit different. I'm not going to bother to try and compare or rank them because they're both worthy of your study.

I just bought it and I love it. I just throw in a couple of simple cuts and you have a real gem. I like that you can do ootw right afterwards.

I really like the look of this. It reminds me a bit of "Over The Top" by Cameron Francis, however this is very different in terms of presentation and approach and the overall focus of the effect.
I perform several Gambling effects as part of a Mafia themed set and this will fit in perfectly. I will definitely be picking this up. Will post a detailed review when I have performed it out in the wild. I personally am glad that the presentation includes the shuffles as I prefer to see real world or as near to real world performances as possible. Also great to see that this is perfect for zoom which is how I am doing all my performances at the moment given the restrictions still being in place here in the UK. |

This is one of the best card downloads I have seen in a long time. Imagine starting with a brand new deck straight out of the packet and getting the deck thoroughly shuffled, perform some effects then swap out the Sting setup deck which you show as a shuffled deck then you end up with the deck back in order. You have just performed a miracle. I cannot do the push through shuffle, as I am not a card technician, but I can do a few false cuts which I am sure most of us can do. Peter Nardi has enhanced the presentation because he can, but he explains that it really is not necessary as with limited card skills the Sting can be performed. This is a self working miracle and one which Scott deserves a lot of credit for putting together. Well done Scott. Way too cheap in my opinion.

Do they teach a deck switch?
I have an issue with saying this is self-working. An earlier poster was confused just like I am. Because if you eliminate the false shuffles and/or cuts and have this be truly a self-working card trick, then you are merely dealing cards off an obviously pre-arranged deck, are you not? It would be like removing the false shuffles from a story card effect such as Sam the Bellhop, but at least with that you have an interesting story. I don’t find The Sting that interesting unless people are absolutely convinced that you are using a genuinely mixed up deck. Not sure merely cuts alone are really enough either. IMO you need some good looking riffle shuffles to really make this shine. I think people with very beginner card skills may be enjoying this more because it gives them the feeling of being an incredible card handler, rather than their audience loving the routine. Has anyone actually performed this to someone other than their wife or family member and not used a false riffle shuffle? |

I have this and think it’s brilliant, you do not need to false shuffle the deck but I throw in a few false cuts which you can learn in 30 seconds as they are self working in themselves and you have a miracle imo.
Even John Carey’s false shuffle is taught which you could teach a Gorilla to do in less than a minute because again it’s self working. I can do a couple of false shuffles but wouldn’t even bother I would just do the basic false cuts and possibly John’s false shuffle but probably not even bother with any shuffle. I am only interested in fooling lay people and this will slay them, the kicker is awesome. Well done Scott and Peter, for releasing this gem Gaz 😊 |

It’s a very nice routine but definitely not a new concept. Frank Thompson, B Cervon, JC Wagner and at least 2 others come to mind. Very nice routine though.

Just purchased this. Yes, it is self-working. Yes, the demo shows a couple of push-through shuffles and false cuts. You don't need those to do the trick. The trick does all the work once you have the stack.
Seems as if people will nitpick over anything. It's basically $11. Pretty ingenious. You don't need the false shuffles and could do it with just the false cuts. If you don't know any false cuts, you should be practicing those rather than looking for new magic. |

Papa Legba............ If a dancer refused to sing, it would not be because it was not dancing. It would be because they probably cannot sing!
No amount of the person being more flexible is going to rectify that issue. |
