I was curious, were chips used in Saloon poker games out west or did players only use money?
If they did use chips, what's good source for reproductions?

Google “ poker chips old west” and you’ll get all the results you can use.
Some beautiful ivory scrimshaw chips from 1880s on eBay.

I did find out poker chips didn't come in to existence until the 1880s.
