Does anyone still make these cartoon like card sets ?

This is probably the wrong subforum to post this, since this is just for reviews of standard decks.
Maybe try asking in the Gaffed & Funky subforum? I'd also suggest including a link to an example of what you mean, or at least an image, so that people know what you mean. |

Oddly enough, I can't find a picture on the Web. There is a picture in the School for Scandal's Book, which I don't have anymore They were not gaffed cards, but
sets of three cards with children's illustrations, not like playing cards, sold to grifters to play the "game". The Monti is a slight of hand scam. Gaffed cards would have gotten you killed, no joke.

The traditional form of 3 card monte involves ungaffed standard playing cards and pure sleight of hand. But there are plenty of versions performed by magicians that use gaffed cards. Some examples: ● Michael Skinner's Ultimate 3 Card Monte ● L&L Publishing's The Last Word on 3 Card Monte (Vol 2) Thanks for clarifying that what you're looking for uses ungaffed cards. But as mentioned already, this is the wrong subforum to be asking for information about this, and you'll get better answers elsewhere. |
