This interview is incredible. I sit down with FISM Winner Henry Harrius. Henry has had an incredible career and has literally done it all over the years. However in recent years he has revolutionised Rubik Cube magic by creating wonderful routines and gimmicks that allow magicians to do things they never thought possible.

In this interview Henry talks about his career and what he went through to get to wheee he is now. He talks about the art of creativity and how to be more creative. He also talks about his latest product - The Cube In Bottle which is a real game changer for cube magicians. He also touches on other products him and his team are working on in the coming months.

This interview is fabulous. Whether you perform any of Henry’s effects or not you can learn so much from listening to his advice. And you get the inside scoop on his new product. Here’s the link - let me know what you think.

This interview is proof that Henry Harrius is one of the most down to earth performers and creator of Rubik Cube magic in the world. Henry really thinks outside the box, and has created beautiful solutions to the various methods for achieving incredibly visual cube magic for both magician and audiences, world wide. His latest release, Cube In Bottle, is a brilliant concept which employs 2 separate gimmicks, one of which some magicians may be familiar with in another incarnation, and the other, a unique simple visual aid which helps convince the audience that what they are about to witness is "really happening." You show a glass jar, and a Rubik cube. You place both items, side by side, inside of a paper bag, similar to a lunch bag. The size of the bag can be seen to only accommodate the two items inside, and nothing more. You fold the top of the bag over to close the opening. The audience member can take hold of the top of the bag, while you proceed to push the cube and jar together. The audience sees the bottom of the bag compress, smaller and smaller, until only the size of the jar can be seen from all sides of the bag. The magician reaches inside and pulls out a glass jar with a real Rubik cube inside of it, cork is on top. The paper bag is crumbled into a small ball, proof that it is empty. The jar and cube can immediately be handed out for thorough inspection.

This release does come with 5 paper bags, and an extra normal Rubik Cube, so all versions of the effect shown on the video explanation can be performed. This is an exceptional piece of parlour or close up magic. Henry teaches a "no table" version as well. The magician can perform the simple effect without a table or assistant holding the bag. One of the gimmicks must be handled with care. It's not super fragile, as some have said. It just has to be handled as Henry explains in the video tutorial. All of the items, including the packaging (box), are of high quality and manufactured and finished beautifully. This is my first post on the Café, as I rarely get excited enough to give a magic release a review. This is a fine product. The buyer will not be disappointed.

I don’t see any replacement cubes for the gimmicked cube for Henry Harrius’ Cube in a Bottle. Can anyone please tell me if replacement cubes are available yet and if so, where they can be purchased? I am awaiting the arrival of my original order of the effect from Henry’s HHP. Thank you.

Hi erichoudini, replacement cubes in bottles should be available on henry's website. If you're looking for a replacement for the gimmick cube (The piece that is somewhat fragile), you may have to message Henry directly.
