Now you can vanish or produce the world's most iconic object, a 'Blue Surgical Mask'. This specially made silk mask with strings appears identical to an ordinary blue disposable surgical mask. The Mask is 100% silk, expertly printed, and crafted to fit in a standard thumb tip. It is ideal to produce, vanish transpose, or use for any of the classic silk effects. Included is a link to a one-hour tutorial video, that covers basic to advanced thumb tip techniques, special mask handlings, managing angles, subtleties, steals, loads, ditches, and several presentation ideas, including Vernon's classic 'Bill to Silk', but now using an item that every spectator can relate to. Please note that this silk mask is NOT a real mask. It does not provide any protection against viruses ( Covid 19 and others...) "I love topical magic, and vanishing masks is high on my reality list." - Shawn Farquhar "This trick is nothing to sneeze at." - Garrett Thomas "A classic effect with a modern hygienic twist that actually ends clean." - Paul Wilson "As an international magic dealer, I fell in love with this effect. It is timely, versatile and clever!" - Mike Shelley |

I agree, Maxy. Great idea.
Please check regularly if you are becoming the type of magician Jerry Seinfeld jokes about. (This applies to mentalists as well.)

Had to buy it as I’m sure it won’t be available forever.
Even long after the pandemic is over I think you could still create very entertaining presentations. Although it seems way overpriced it probably isn’t cheap to create from scratch and have manufactured in a small run. |

I just ordered through Penguin. They have a 48 hour special this weekend with free shipping and no minimum purchase. I don't know if that is worldwide but it was free to Canada. They also have free gifts at different purchase levels.

Agree with videoman, got it while it's available, along with a thumb tip, which I actually don't yet own.

I thought, "Excellent idea"!
Then I thought, "how much will they be charging for this?" $25 exceeded my wildest guess. Sheesh. |

Yeah: I don't often complain about prices, because if you're a pro $25 is immaterial. It does look v authentic. Handily, my wife has a sewing machine, and a couple of 12" silks will do the job!

Yeah, but I’m guessing that nice dinner you repay your wife with will set you back more than $25. 😃

I got a kick out of the ad copy where it says this is made of silk and will not prevent protect against the Coronavirus. Got me thinking if you wear a hundred of them it would work really well then you could do a multiplying covid-19 mask routine😊 only kidding of course.

Got this yesterday, along with a Vernet king-size thumb tip (which is great, by the way). The mask compresses VERY small, but looks pretty good from even a few feet away. The mask is not like a real mask with the folds, but with painted on lines, and soft ear loops attached. Size is just right. This will be a great quickie for Zoom or Facetime, but also could be used in real life, as well.

Went to a Casino yesterday and walked up without a mask. The security guard says , excuse me sir requirement is to wear a mask. I produced this mask from my bear hands and totally blew his mind.
