Some coin magic. A little variation on Geoff Latta slow motion vanish. I've trier to make the coin vanish "in full view". Visual magic can be a trap sometimes, because the methodcand effect are very close.
Do you think this move is effective ?

I think somewhat effective, very nicely done. Doing coin magic myself I noticed the "cupping and curled" position of the hand but not sure if the layman would notice.

Not as a stand alone effect. This placed into a 1 coin routine etc would play well. (my opinion only)

Nice! I like the "balle" effect as well!

As has already been mentioned - it would work nicely in a routine, if the routine moved along, but not as a stand alone vanish.

What we must remember, is that the subtlety used was never intended to be a way of explicitly displaying an empty hand after a vanish - it's not strong enough for this purpose.
The intention of the subtlety, is to imply or reinforce the idea that a hand the audience thinks or assumes is empty, actually is.
The idea should compliment the vanish, not be the sole proof.
