In one of my near infinite boxes of old magic tricks, I found a packet trick (with no instructions) that I only vaguely remember.

There are 7 Jacks and 9 red number cards. Three cards are gaffed (not sure if I should say more unless necessary).

Can anyone tell me what this trick is?

I don't think so... The red number cards include 5♥, 5♦, 6♦, 7♥, 8♥, 8♦, 9♥, 10♥, 10♦. (There are also the 9♦, 7♦, 6♥.) Of the seven Jacks a J♠ is the one missing.
