Hello, I have some questions about Ammars DVD:s.
I have the complete cups and balls part one but not the second one. I also own Ammars cups and balls routine from a magazine. (Very well described) I know the Dai Vernon wand spin and some other wand moves. Is it worth buying the second DVD anyway? /Ark

I do not have them but I would say yes. if you do not have the book on the C&B's by Ammar get that as well.

The dvds are a great resouce. Vol 2 includes a number of advanced wand vanishes, opening sequences, main body sequences, final loads, ending sequences and a clip of Dai Vernon performing his routine.
All in all I would say well worth getting to add to volume 1. |

I feel you will get a lot out of having both volumes. I purchased vol 2 after working on the material from vol 1 - I learned so much more. In my opinion I would recommend buying vol 2. These are excellent videos and there is so much information offered for someone interested in the cups and balls. Go for it, you'll be glad you did.

I have both volumes (in VHS format) and I want to get the book too. I would've gotten the DVDs but they weren't available in my area.
In my opinion, there is far too much knowledge in these products to pass up if you're a serious C&B worker.
I need a stage name.

Something the others missed about Vol 2 of the Ammar Cups and Balls is the incredible material presented by Bob Read from England.
The guy has more information on the printed history of Cups and Balls than anyone else on the face of this planet. Those 3 or 4 segments (which amount to about 12 minutes or so of video) are worth at least twice as much as the $25 or so bucks you'll spend on the entire video. Robert Bloor

I enjoy watching the Ammar cups & balls videos. They are often a good reference source if you are considering a change up in your routine. I have gone through so many routines... they are excellent.

Most of the best work is on volume 2 final load sequences and routining are worth the price. Also I agree the words of the fantastic Bob read is worth having Bob used to do a brilliant version of the cups and balls but sadly he told me that someone stole his props some years ago and he cannot be botherd to put them all together again so you won't see it live again so sad.

I have both the vhs tapes and the book. Everytime I watch the tapes, I improve my sleights and moves. They are great for anyone doing cups and balls.
I enjoy Bob Reeds history of C&B on the tapes, but this is usually the time when I practice my sleights while the history lesson is playing
Jim. Thats me on the left,Everyone should know the other guy!

Both volumes are must-haves. I would also recommend the Stevens teach in on the cups and balls that was just released on DVD. It is truly excellent and a great companion to Ammar's dvd's.

I understand that Bob is planning to publish a book with the real "plums" of his collection in it.
