My three cents: There’s so many effects out there like this that involve a gimmicked deck. There’s better effects out there that require sleight of hand and a NORMAL deck. Theory 11 releases too much of the same thing. Brandon |

Sometimes you need something excessively clean for times where you must ensure you cannot get caught, like on TV for example. I think this looks great.

I'm definitely interested, but I have the wriggling feeling that I'll end up waiting long enough to lose interest, but that's more of my own failing.
Looks really clean though, and I'm always excited to see younger creators on the scene. |

I thought it looked great. As good as any gimmicked Triumph I’ve seen.

Looks clean, I'm assuming the cards are printed split with one half of the card face down, other half face up. Sort of like Bob Kohlers aces in their faces

And they're not CardShark cards, so... I agree with your logic but I still don't fully understand what's going on with this deck. It looks very good. |

Does look great and clean. However, I've become 'Demo Video Shy' to the point of wondering if the deck being spread front and back is the actual deck being used during the trick.
Looking forward to actual reviews. I have a couple of loose method ideas. If anything gels I'll post in Secret Sessions area of the site. |

Used cheek to cheek for years, whilst this is obviously a visual improvement, don't think specs would notice any difference between the two effects. Cheek to Cheek is probably safer as well in terms of display and is literally self-working.

This reminds me of a lovely effect by Mark Elsdon called 'Chaos and Order'.
The cards go into the card box, a 'button' is pressed on the box (either 'chaos' or 'order'), and the deck behaves accordingly- mixing itself up face up and face down, or righting itself. There is something charming and mysterious about the magic happening in the box, which also somehow takes the heat away from the cards. I wonder if sometimes an effect like this can be too clean for its own good...? |

Agreed. Cheek to cheek and Chaos 2 are two brilliant effects.

I watched the promo for Duvivier's deck that shuffles itself.
Surely the first thing a layman will think after watching this is 'trick deck'? Or is that just me? |

The tutorial video for this effect is very detailed, clear and over an hour and twenty minutes long. The deck is pretty much what I thought it was and will work well for the routines shown by Max in the tutorial. Reset isn't instant and the deck can't be handed out. No R/S. |
