Jan, the ad copy states that the deck is normal.

I have only just watched this and to me it’s a stacked deck which is marked and he culls in the action of spreading imo Gaz 😊

Gaz that would be a method to achieve the same effect, but the ad copy suggests it's not the method used here...

Fair enough I only watched the video but I know enough to realise there is obviously a procedure involved and it must have something to do with re handling of the cards in some way.
That video shows me a way as does David Jonathan’s latest version he is obviously adding cards etc from his lap from a index via a casual palm. Unfortunately real magic doesn’t exist so you have to look at the weak points to know if it’s any better than what we already have imo Gaz 😊 |

There is a lot of ways to get the force card in position in a regular deck. Either before the dealing process, as a part of the dealing process, or a convincing xxxxx of the last card dealt. This is basically a CAAN effect, meaning you have a prediction card/force card on a paperclip (or in plain sight, or in an envelope). You just need to get the card to a freely chosen number - or seemingly so.
The H.G. Effect by Shawn Farquhar is another good example of expanding this into an ACAAN effect, and getting the card in position during the spreading motion. Very convincing routine btw. Looking forward to see a real uncut performance in Luke's interview. Br Jan |

Br Jan I agree with you. That is why we all need to see an uncut version of this because if it is clean regardless of what is done to achieve it it will be I believe a best-seller. But if it gets convoluted and that's what was cut well then we would all agree all of us have at least one way of getting a card to a certain position and then it would just be a waste of money. But I'm hoping that this is a version that is clean and fairly easy to accomplish.
Good magic to all, Eric |

Interesting that the add says a NORMAL deck of cards come with this. If that's the case I wonder what the gimmick is since you can purchase this in RED or BLUE?

Hi Bob does it say a gimmick is involved or are they just sending us a regular deck in Red or Blue bikes? Regards Gaz 😊

I just went to Vanishing Inc Magic website and looked at the users questions for this. Interesting how Vanish Inc answers the one question saying "Everything you need to do is well within the range of a beginner". Then another user asks the question, "Is the gimmick the paperclipped card and if so is it a completely free choice of card?. And interesting enough Vanish Inc. did not answer this!

If I remember correctly, Adrian teached this in his At the Table Lecture and/or Penguin Live lecture.
He teached how to make the clever gimmick. Now he is selling the gimmick. Great effect. |

I doubt this is the same gimmick as the one he teaches on his Penguin lecture!
How I understand it is that the gimmick is used for the second phase where the named card ends up in the box, so the gimmick has to do with the card it the box, but I may be wrong, it has happened before. |

I'm not sure what happened with the interview but it is a little disappointing that a new video has not come out yet that is uncut.

If Im correct, which Im fairly sure I am, then even though there's a weird cut in the demo video, there's nothing of importance that's been cut out, all the pieces are there. Not entirely sure why we need a slightly longer video, so that we can see her dealing to 19.
