I have had my echo box for about two weeks and I really like it. Yes it is ALSO a fairly decent Okito box (one cannot have too many of those), but a lot more. It has a very versatile feature that I have never seen before, but I am sure it is old.
I am working on several routines and I am very surprised I have not come across this before. The only issue I have is that the edges are very sharp. I just always prefer the aesthetics of the rounded edges of a Buddha box. Is this something completely new (I would be surprised if it was) or is there other versions. I have reached out to 2-3 suppliers, and they said this is the only one. Just curious. |

I also just received mine and have never seen this principle before (I have about a dozen boxes of all different types)

I had one for Christmas and love it....definitely more deceptive than a slot bo .

I love it also. First see this kind of principle.

It's a high quality prop and although the instruction video is subtitled, it is very clear. Like this a lot. Perhaps a little expensive as a single item, but I was lucky enough to get this included in a bundle of items.

Does it allow the moves in the demo to be combined or is the video showing each move that can be accomplished? Can you produce 4 coins with it, one at a time or do you have to preload 1 in private?

That depends. What are you asking?
Without going into any detail, you can hide only a single coin (extra, or one ahead/behind) at a time. But you can easily and quickly activate things, as you want. But there's a lot you could do with simple routining Can you produce 4 coins one at a time from the box, much like a standard Okito routine? Absolutely - you only need a good switch of some sort. Can you do any combination of those moves back to back with no extra setup? No, for example you cannot change a coin into a ring, then a coin immediately into sand. Though, as before, you might be able to do sand and then a coin with some good routining/secret work, but at that point the spectator might start to get a little suspicious. |

My understanding is that this is a box with a "slot lid". Please correct me if I'm wrong?

It seems like answering that would probably count as some kind of exposure, no?
I'll send you a PM. |

I suppose in context of mentioning this 'echo' box it could be. However, I see slot boxes discussed a lot in a lot of the different forums here. Is that exposure?
@the OP- If it's a slot lid, there's nothing new here. It's been done for at least a decade that I know of. |

Maybe. It's always such a strange line here. I guess a lot of folks don't know what a slot box is. But I don't know if naming this as the same counts as more or less exposure, then, to say it works similarly. /shrug
