$8 on Penguin. I'm surprised no one has talked about this yet.

Like many others have experienced, a close up-bag isn't practical to take in many situations, like when out to dinner, visiting with friends, etc... This carrier from TCC has a large pouch for a deck of cards, but also a slim pouch for business cards, coins, slips, whatever. It's a great buy if you have props you don't want to keep loose (like coins or paper) and without taking up much space as well.

Could you fit about 10 or so playing cards on the small side?

Maybe once the carrier is broken in, you could fit some loose cards in there. Maybe not 10, it's a very tight fit. I wouldn't put any valuable packet tricks in there, they'd likely end up warping.
