Hi, I got several TT as part of a box, and there is one that got me curious. The nail part of it is cut (around the front and sides of the nail, the root of the nail is still attached). I'm assuming that is done so I can pull something out the front of the TT, but I have no idea of what. Is anyone familiar with this TT usage?

Thanks Danny, I found the booklet that deals with this TT. I haven't found the DVD in stock anywhere.

This tt modification is excellent for use as a dye t**e. Easier to control if you're used to handling a tt. I first saw one in the late 70's called a trap door and also a totally open nail.

I purchased it from him at a lecture.

I just watched my copy of Berrys' Fliptip again.
I think I’ll start using it.
