Haha whilst I now live only a couple of hundred yards from the spot on the Thames where I used to fish as a lad I’m not sure 2lb line would be strong enough. That said I don’t think many of the perch, roach or tench I caught here as a lad were much over 1lb.

Just curious, has anyone spoken to Mark about his new release.
Best Steve

I love this device. Two words: "Free Will".

Mine arrived a few days ago and works perfectly but I am tempted to rethread it just so I can make sure the thread is stuck properly.

I am very happy with mine now that I have replaced the thread. Free Will is just one example of how you can use this, positive negative is another. If you perform in a jacket I would consider this almost an essential purchase. Whilst I had a specific use case in mind for this when I bought it (I will give you a ring and share it with you Gaz, you will love it) the possibilities are endless and more than worth the small amount of faffing required to get the unit working perfectly.

Thanks Mark, I can’t to see what you have come up with. I know it will be pure genius.
I will have my version 1 in my top pocket ready to go when we speak my friend Gaz. 😊 |

Could you get away with a shirt pocket? I don't think you could I have tried it and it's too baggy.

Gary you could but I do tend to go the extra mile with most things I buy.
Hence if using a shirt I have put double stick tape on the back (inside) of my shirt pocket and pressed it against the unit. I would point out that 95% of the time I use it in a jacket because that’s how I mainly perform. Anything can be achieved and it certainly can work in a shirt but you are essentially needing to take that baggy ness (sorry couldn’t spell it) out. Best wishes Gaz.😊 |
