I recently performed walk-around magic tricks at a professional baseball minor league park during their spring community open house day. Everything went great, and everyone was really nice, and the crowd reactions were very positive. But, just as a funny aside, the open house was having an open audition, all day long, open to anyone and everyone, to sing the National Anthem. They had about 90 people sign up to sing at the open house, and I think they were picking about 10 to perform at future games during this season. So for three hours, as I walked around performing magic tricks, I heard one person after another after another sing the National Anthem. I think I started the walk-around at No. 80 and when I was finished three hours later, they were still singing. So imagine hearing the National Anthem performed by all types of people, with all types of voices, continually, for three hours, as you did walk-around. It's unusual, and pretty funny. And I had to stop a couple of times because singers who thought they were Ethel Merman or Rob Halford completely drowned out all surrounding sound!
