I'm Michael and I live in Michigan. I started in magic when I was maybe 10 or 12 years old all through high school. During college I got away from it, but now as I begin to approach retirement, I'm picking it back up!

Welcome Mcduff,
I got bit by the Magic bug when I was 37. No prior experience or interest. Some 20 plus years later, the bug hasn’t let go. Magic provided a very decent second income until March of 2020 COVID. Have fun here on the Café.

Similar story here. Got invovled in middle school, did magic up through college. Then kinda got away from it. Not quite ready for retirement, but getting there, and finding a new found love for the craft.
I always struggled learning from books, so videos of trick, and Penguin Lectures, have really helped rekindle my interest. Lots of good resources here on the Café as well. Enjoy and welcome!
