It looks like my post got deleted, I'm not sure why. I was wondering what everyone wants to accomplish in 2022 and if we can help each other with our goals.

I'm just happy my show is open and thriving.

What do you want to accomplish with hypnosis in 2022 and how can others on the page help you grow?

Well kevin I have 4 goals,

1. Finish developing a second show for repeat bookings.

2. Get more bookings in general.

3. Actually getting to a place without getting lost first.
(just once and I'll call it a win)

4. Keeping myself from buying the cheapest prop available,
and then spending hours fixing it.

A friend of mine’s father used to say he was much too poor to buy cheap tools.

You will end up spending more money and time fixing cheap crap.

#4 is vital. There is no reason to get overcharged for things but cheap always ends up being very expensive. What type of props are you looking for?

#1 a second show doesn't have to be completely different, but enough unique to have some new surprises for a repeat audience

I've been purchasing from "kingmagic" and other china and india
shops for a while, and that stuff is almost never as advertised.

most recently I purchased an appearing flower box illusion from kingmagic,
It was unusable Upon arrival, now some folks may have been surprised
and disappointed, but I'm an experienced china product buyer.

I had to take the boxes apart and tape them back together to get it to work,
you bet I wish I paid the extra 3 dollars for a name brand.

Currently I'm looking into "appearing canes" not for the usual flash appearance,
but to pull out of a bag.

If you want to read the most dramatic reviews, read the ones for 4 dollar
canes from Amazon, story after story of folks pulling the pen, and the cane
opening like a grenade and hitting them in one place or the other.

That ain't gonna be me.

As for the second show, I'm aiming for at least 60 percent of the material
to be different, I'm also working on alternative plots.

In terms of answering your post, I am working on an illusion book and plan to get it done by the end of 2022. I am going to upload one of the ideas in my book on kickstarter soon. Hope it gets funded. Keep magic alive everyone and continue to push your dreams forward regardless if nobody believes in you.

1. Practice and perform metamorphosis on stage. I purchased the illusion some years back. I just haven't performed it yet.

2. Open a NY style pizzeria where I live.

3. Attend the Hypnotherapy Academy of America for hypnotherapy training. The school just happens to be located where I live too.

Love the metamorphosis, especially the create version as you can pack and wheel most of your show around in it!

Update,

1, second show's nearly finished, just have a few snags holding it up.

2, yes, but 2021 wasn't terribly difficult to beat.

3, a win actually, now the house was less than a mile from where I live,
but I still take undeserved pride in not getting lost.

4, fail, I'm currently Regretting a few purchases, but they were cheap,
and at least they make good review material...
