Does anyone know the source for the suggestion of rolling a coin on your hands to
give the illusion that your hand is empty.(Even though there are 4 to 6-or in the case of Super Reed/13 coins palmed) Harris -mere mortal coin and audience guy -

I know that that suggestion is in Bobo's. Not sure where it might be prior to that.

Harris,
You might want to check out the "Harbottle Steeplechase Discrepancy" that my buddy Kainoa explains on "Palms of Steel". He's done quite a bit on this, using the coinroll to both attract attention, and imply that his hands are empty. (He's usually holding out 4) The good news is that it's really very easy, and if you can roll the coin, you can do it. We once toyed with the coin roll for hours. The question was, "what would it look like if Michael Moshen did it?"

I thought Palms of Steel was by someone else.
I will have to recheck my memory or some magic sites. I can only C-P 4 coins while doing the coin roll. That is if I want the coin or coins to look as if the are dancing across the fingers. I limit it to two coins rolling on each hand. IMHO it looks a lot more fluid than when I try it with three. Hopefully I can find the video or book that you mentioned above. I really appreciate this digest and the posters on this category. I apologize if any of my nearly normal coments have offended anyone. Harris

and Harris, the beauty of it is that in Kainoa's handling, the coins are Fingerpalmed, which makes it all easier, believe it or not.
