Hi all,

I've come across a gimmicked set that was in my father's collection (it's at least 40 years old)

It came in a black plastic bill fold like carrier. 4 card size envelopes that have a 1" round hold in the center of each and 3 cards that are all the 8 of clubs, one of which has a partial Queen card attached to it. On the inside of the "billfold" says Poor Mans Palace, Oakland CA.

Can any of you give me a bit of history of this card effect or other info?

The cards sound like a "Dutch Looper" set but I'm not sure how the envelopes would have been used.
