Hi,
Before anything let me introduce myself, my name is Pablo. I live currently in Mexico, San Juan Del Rio Qro to be exact. Well the thing is, I have been into magic since I was like five or six, but I didn't start practicing fully until I was ten (I was living in Vancouver then). Back then I used to spend my time in the library studing magic and practicing, every thing was fine then. I practiced that way until I was twelve, then I bought this book called 'The Royal Road to Card Magic'. It helped me a lot. Then I moved back to Mexico, and where I currently live there isn't any good sources to learn. The most recent purchases I've made are 'Expert Card Technique' and 'The Encyclopedia of Card Magic. I'm thinkin of geting, I think it's called 'Modern Coin Magic by J.B Bobo. Back to my point, I was wondering if any one could send me sleights on coin and cigarette magic, since here I can't fnd anywhere to learn. I would be glad if any one would like to help from magician to magician. Thanks. You can write to me at: shag_nova@yahoo.com or pablo_lov@hotmail.com
love the art since I was five practice fully since I was ten , sixteen already havent stop and never will.

It sounds like the books you have are a great place to start. If you can master a fraction of the material covered in them, you're well on your way.
What is the color of magic?

Welcome Pablo,
There is much to learn here in the Cafe. Just look around are read along. Don't be afraid to ask questions too. And Like Dr Mage said in his post to you, the books that you already have are a great place to start. There is wonderful information in them that, if mastered, you will be years ahead of lots of magicians. Welcome once again! Joe Marotta |

Welcome aboard, Pablo,
I'm with Dr. Mage in thinking that, if you master a fraction of the books you now have, you'll be well on your way. Definitely get Bobo; it's a 'must' for any magician, not just for the coin work, but for the structure. cheers, Peter Marucci showtimecol@aol.com |
