Thanks for all the kind words and messages that have been sent to me. It seems everyone is digging the new Chop.
For those that have it don’t underestimate the opening phase using one of the new moves. IMP it’s one of the most magical phases in the whole routine and you can do so much more with the move. And yeah. I filmed the live performances in Columbus which was a fantastic place and everyone was really friendly. Thanks again everyone. |

With the moves I present you could perform a totally self working routine that as long as you can hold a cup you could do the trick. Hope that helps. |

Seconded. I don't need a second gimmick but I'd like access to the new material.

I’m afraid that’s not my call. That would be a Penguin question.
I imagine it’s something they might do at some point but I couldn’t tell you anymore. I imagine if enough people ask they would do it. Penguin have done an incredible job with this project. I’m so happy with how it turned out. |

We saw a nice trailer but the real question now would be:
If magicians are given all the props for examination do they figure out the method or are they fooled. And what if the magicians are examining the props for 3 days in a lab. Do they figure out what is special about them? That's very important to know for people who are never performing the routine once in the real world |

How many magicians does it take to change a lightbulb? Regardless, for magicians darkness is a time for d'lite.

Usually I might say that $40 is much too costly for current owners of an effect to pay for updated handlings but in this case I make an exception. Craig has been working like a madman and taking the magic world by storm (cliche intended) with his new creations, review show and other efforts. I am happy to support him on this. 🍻

Yeah, I feel like $40 is a steal for what you get with this. I own the original but it's not a bad idea to have a second set of gimmicks as a back up. With all of the teaching that's included it's a real bargain and includes so many great options for routines.

The updated CHOP is BETTER. Not just "another Chop gimmick".
Or "backup" to the original. Craig says it is . . . IMPROVED. And I can see where it . . IS . . . IMPROVED. |

I just got Chop (2022) -- very good prop for casual "impromptu" performing.
I already had worked up Presti Cup, which incorporates some great subtle moves, as in this trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9iN4ut3UJE I'll apply these moves to Chop as well. Nice release! |

I’ll be honest I prefer Chop just because I don’t need to take anything around except the gimmick and there is reason to hold a pen as the bill is being signed. I don’t really do the whole magic wand thing when performing close up. But I might be biased. Lol |

No I didn’t and as I told you before it was mentioned in this thread I didn’t even know about it as a product. Plus most of my new material uses cards and coins and wouldn’t work with a gimmick built into a wand so I’m fairly sure there is no crossover. |
